Alan Wormald Band (of Shakatak) + SHL

Bradford born and bred Alan Wormald plays his homecoming return show here at Tapestry on November 05th 2021.

Guitar virtuoso Alan Wormald who is also a full time member of hit band Shakatak, is bringing his all star band to Bradford for one night only!

He is joined by Joe England on drums, Simon Goulding on bass guitar, with vocalists Shelley James and Fiona Ford.

Formed in 2012, Svarc Hanley Longhawn are a collaborative band performing original music with influences from the classic organ trios of the past and current jazz musicians alike. The music is written as a group with an emphasis on both written material and extended improvisation.

In 2014 Svarc Hanley Longhawn were selected by Jazz North to feature on the Northern Line Jazz Roster. Northern line is Jazz North’s innovative scheme for supporting touring for northern jazz musicians across the north of England. The scheme aims to encourage new or cautious promoters to book selected northern artists by reducing the financial risk.
