Our fabulous boutique venue is somewhat of a chameleon! Acoustically designed and perfectly suited to everything from live music gigs and events, to comedy nights, arts presentations and workshops. The venue is ideal to hire for corporate delegate space, daytime or night. Ask us about venue hire for private events such as, themed weddings, birthday parties and special occasions. The venue has a seated capacity of up to 100 and a standing capacity of up to 300.
We have extensive in house facilities
The venue has a modular staging system – a 2ft (60cm) high stage. It can be as small as 4ft x 4ft (1.2m x 1.2m) for a simple presentation, giving you much more seated delegate space. Expandable to a healthy sized 20ft x 12ft (6.1m x 3.6m) stage for a full live music performance or stage show. Our stage can easily be configured to any required size in between, for a private event, a function or daytime corporate meeting. If required a felt carpet (available in most colours) can be fitted to our stage for your event or private function.
In house sound system
Our enviable state of the art in house sound system comes to you from Meyer Sound in the USA. They are the undisputed world leaders of premier pro audio systems design and manufacture. In short it sounds truly AMAZING – an absolute listening experience GUARANTEED!
In house lighting
On our extensive lighting trusses lives a comprehensive DMX intelligent LED lighting system. Therefore so versatile it can be as plain or as abstract as you prefer. Just a simple warm white spotlight for corporate speaker type presentations maybe? Or perhaps an all singing, all dancing moving head light show, with an array of vibrant colour? If you want dramatic feature lighting for a live music concert, or a feature stage performance, just say the word. We can also provide LED screens and large format media projection. Ideally suited to corporate events, these screens will ensure your delegates know that you mean business.

In house catering
Alongside the venue hire our café Tapestry Eats has an integrated & fully equipped professional commercial kitchen. We can easily cater to your needs, with a varied menu to satisfy all palettes including vegetarian, vegan and halal choices.
Bar with late license
Our venue bar is stocked with a fabulous range of draught, packaged and soft drinks. These include IPA, premium lagers, a wide range of spirits, and cool gin & cocktail menus. We also have a late license 7 days a week, so there’s no need to rush off. Ask for details here.
